# Materials and CMF documentation

CMF means color, material, and finish. Limn uses product-specific CMF documentation to define customization choices, supported by renders and samples or swatches.

The materials glossary describes hardwoods including teak, high-resilience Urecell Quickdry foam, performance textiles, and water-based adhesives. It states that foam is specified by density for the duty cycle, and identifies abrasion, cleanability, and colorfastness as textile selection considerations.

For a specification, request the actual product's finish choices, textile documentation, intended use, care guidance, and samples. Treat claims about sourcing, chemical emissions, or certification as Limn's stated claims until the relevant project documentation is supplied. This bundle does not convert textile abrasion test methods or certify material performance.
