Most collections begin as a design brief. Ragusa began as a request — a client who needed a table that didn't exist yet, and a name that honors where the work came from.

[Draft — confirm details with Limn before publish:] When [developer client — name pending approval] came to Limn for [project], the brief called for a dining table with presence — [dimensions/wood — from cut sheet] — and a credenza to match. The pieces were designed, prototyped, and approved through Limn's design and fabrication process, then built in solid hardwood with the same traditional joinery as every Limn piece.
The name follows the Limn convention of naming collections for places that shaped them — [the Jake Ragusa story: pending approval to tell publicly]. Like Ukiah, Inyo, Pacifica, and St Helēna, Ragusa is a point on a map that became a point of view.
