Paulette Woodfin
The mark of a great restaurant isn't just the food, it's the maître d' who makes sure every moving part lands exactly right, and makes it look easy while doing so. Paulette is that person, just with a reservation book traded for a spreadsheet, seventeen open browser tabs, and a fresh-brewed coffee carafe within arm's reach.
Paulette has spent her career doing the thing most people find hardest, closing the gap between a great idea and a clean, delivered outcome. She's equally comfortable sketching out a master plan and quietly fixing the thing nobody else noticed was broken. A native Texan who first fell for Austin back when the grunge was still fresh and the rent was still reasonable; she left twice for New York City but kept finding her way back. She has built a career spanning advertising agencies, in-house creative teams, and global marketing organizations at Food Network, Ogilvy, Dell, and Expedia. The industries changed. Her standards didn't.
